In Sweden, there is a wide range of private care providers offering different services to people in need of care.

Today, the public sector is the dominant provider of health and social care, but the private sector is playing an increasingly important role. Private care providers can contribute to an increased supply of care in a situation where demand is higher than supply, as well as help to relieve regions and municipalities in the current strained situation. Private health and social care providers in Sweden can provide care under the following statutes: LOU, LOV, LOF and LOL, as well as through insurance-financed and privately financed care. As a private healthcare provider, it is important to understand how each region and municipality works with, for example, LOU and LOV in order to best adapt to current conditions and understand the needs within the province.

Sirona has extensive experience of supporting private health and care providers throughout Scandinavia. Sirona's offer covers the entire spectrum; from strategic advice with a helicopter perspective for the entire health and care sector to working with operational leadership development, patient flows, skills supply and driving and supporting implementation in complex change programs. We have a unique understanding of the entire healthcare landscape; its synergies and the market, from needs and dynamics, between and within regions and municipalities, to reimbursement models and financing conditions. Together with our clients, we develop and implement strategies that help you increase productivity and efficiency while maintaining the highest quality.
