Less than a fifth of Sweden's CEOs are women, and the share of women in operational management has only increased by 3% in 16 years. Although Sweden is known for its progressive approach to gender equality, these figures show that the work is far from finished. With this in mind, we are particularly proud of Sirona's CEO and founder, Marit Vaagen has been awarded the title "Top 10 Women CEO's in Sweden 2024" and thus recognized in Global Women Leader.
"Being recognized as one of the top female CEOs in Sweden is a great honor. There are too few women in leading positions and I hope with this to inspire more women to start companies and strive for leadership positions to contribute to a more equal corporate culture."
