Mapping menopausal care and treatment

The National Board of Health and Welfare recently published the first national survey of menopausal care and treatment. The survey showed large regional differences in the collection of drugs for menopausal symptoms. In a press release from the National Board of Health and Welfare, Christina Strååt, project manager at the National Board of Health and Welfare, comments on the review:

- These differences are so large that we will go further and analyze what access to care and treatment looks like, and also what menopausal women need in terms of advice, support and treatment.

Sirona is pleased to have contributed to this important work through a literature review.
