Last week, the Swedish Agency for Health and Care Services Analysis published a new report on privately funded assessments and treatments for ADHD and autism.

Sirona is pleased to have been able to support the agency in its work through extensive data collection and analysis. The work was carried out in close collaboration with the Swedish Agency for Health and Care Services Analysis and compiled into a background report that serves as the basis for parts of the published report.

Among other things, the survey shows that 108 private healthcare providers offer assessments and treatments for ADHD and autism, and that the privately funded market is estimated to have an annual turnover of at least 1.57 billion kronor. The report also highlights how the market has evolved, the regions’ contracts with private healthcare providers, and how these providers market their services.

Access to comprehensive data in this area is limited, which makes this type of survey particularly important for gaining a better understanding of how the healthcare sector and the market are evolving.

We at Sirona are proud to contribute evidence-based analyses and a knowledge base on an important and timely issue for the Swedish healthcare system.

Many thanks to the Swedish Agency for Health and Care Services Analysis for their trust and excellent cooperation!
