The recently published government report *Needs-Based Care* (SOU 2026:38) draws on several of Sirona’s analyses as a basis for its work.

Among other things, the report repeatedly refers to our national survey of digital healthcare visits and other digital services in primary care—a preliminary study conducted by Sirona on behalf of the Swedish Agency for Health and Care Services Analysis. The survey is used, among other things, in discussions regarding reimbursement models, the development of digital healthcare, and the need for better national monitoring.

In addition, our comparative analysis of private healthcare providers’ reimbursements and public healthcare providers’ costs—which was conducted on behalf of Vårdföretagarna—is used as the basis for cost estimates in the report.

We at Sirona are pleased to see that our analyses and medical reviews provide fact-based insights into some of the most pressing issues in healthcare.

It is also a wonderful testament to the work our employees do every day to transform complex data and large amounts of information into knowledge that can contribute to the development of Swedish healthcare.
