Effective April 1, 2026, Shadi Abbas will assume the role of CEO of Sirona, having served as interim CEO since the fall of 2025.
Shadi has nearly 20 years of experience in the life sciences sector and most recently served as Managing Director at Sirona. In recent years, he has played a key role in Sirona’s management team, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and long-term customer relationships.
Sirona’s founder, Marit Vaagen, will continue in her role as chair of the board, focusing on the company’s long-term strategic development, and will continue to work with several of the company’s clients.
