A year of cooperation and innovation comes to an end
As the year draws to a close and the Christmas holidays approach, I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm thank you to all of you that we have had the privilege of working with during the year. It has been a good year, and I am particularly proud that we at Sirona have had the opportunity to work with so many different actors in the life science sector during the year. Sweden is at the forefront, both as a user country in pharmaceuticals and medtech and when it comes to driving innovation. At the same time, we see great potential to further strengthen the conditions for innovation and growth in the future.
We are now on the cusp of a new and exciting era where artificial intelligence has the potential to fundamentally transform healthcare. Just like previous waves of digitalization, AI is opening up doors to entirely new opportunities - opportunities that it is crucial that we seize. Sweden and Scandinavia have always been early adopters of new innovations, putting us in a unique position to lead the way. Now it is important that regions, governments and policy makers make wise and long-term decisions that create the right conditions for both domestic and global actors to contribute to this change. With the potential of AI, we can improve efficiency, raise quality and create even better, more personalized outcomes for patients.
Highlights of the year
During the year, we at Sirona have had the privilege of working widely across Sweden and Scandinavia. I am particularly proud that we are the only player with a framework agreement with Sweden's largest region in both strategy and management consulting, in-depth follow-ups and AI strategy and digitization. This is clear evidence of the breadth and depth of the expertise we offer to develop and strengthen healthcare.
We have also built partnerships with a wide variety of actors - both private, public and non-profit - and continue to see great opportunities to build bridges between them to create more cohesive, innovative and person-centered care together.
Shaping the future of healthcare through collaboration
I would like to conclude by extending a big and warm thank you to our customers, partners and all of you who contribute to making healthcare better every day. Together, we have taken important steps in 2024, and I look forward to continuing this work with the same passion and drive in 2025.
