"The seminars promote networking and highlight current issues"
In early December, Sirona, in collaboration with Stockholm Science City , held the seminar Success Factors for Successful Collaborations between Business and Healthcare. Tina Sayari, senior consultant at Sirona, talks about the company's investment in seminars.
Tell us about the seminar.
- The breakfast seminar, held at Life City, was Sirona's fifth for the fall. We have chosen to invest in this type of meeting and event partly to show ourselves as a serious player, and partly to bring together different skills from different companies and organizations.
Was it successful?
- Yes, really, over 80 people came to get answers to current issues such as: How can healthcare be developed through partnerships with companies? What do companies learn from well-planned and executed joint development projects? How can jointly developed new products, services and ways of working be implemented and what challenges can arise? But also what success factors are needed to go all the way?
In addition to a hand-picked panel, Kristina Groth and Frieder Braunschweig from Karolinska University Hospital talked about successful collaborations to achieve better home care, and Magnus Runnamo from Pfizer talked about the road to some 30 Cilia clinics in Skåne. The panel also included Jeanette Tuval, from Karolinska University Hospital, and Sirona's CEO and founder Marit Vaagen.
Why should you attend Sirona's seminars?
- You can get to know others in the industry and expand your network, and you can gain insights into current topics where you also have the opportunity to get answers to your own questions and concerns. The hand-picked panel provides a deeper perspective and you learn what challenges and opportunities exist. The collaboration with Stockholm Science City has been very successful, so we are now looking at how we can follow this up in the spring and in the future.
