Today is International Women's Day
Gender equality has been a priority here at Sirona since the start when our CEO and founder Marit Vaagen started the company with the conviction that an equal company, with a good mix of women and men, creates a better corporate culture and results. To highlight this day, we have discussed with our colleagues Cecilia, Susanna and My what International Women's Day means to us and how Sirona contributes to this.
What does International Women's Day mean to us?
For us, it is a day that highlights the situation of women all over the world and we think it is very important to recognize the work of women in different fields such as science, healthcare, culture, etc. to promote equality between women and men.
How does Sirona contribute to this?
In a variety of ways; by contributing to the development of society, we also contribute to the development and well-being of women. Healthcare is also traditionally a female-dominated field where we at Sirona have the opportunity to work with women in our client organizations and women in healthcare at different levels. By improving healthcare to become more proactive and person-centered, we contribute greatly to improving the conditions for women who are active in healthcare in one way or another.
